ST. JOSEPH’S WAYNE HOSPITAL NURSE HONORED BY PHYSICIANS

 

 Fong-Jiao Chen, RN, a nurse in the Intensive Care/Critical Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital for 21 years, was recently selected by the hospital’s physicians for the Bi-Annual Nursing Award. Ms. Chen was chosen from more than 25 nurses nominated for the award based on her professional ability, bedside manner, dedication to high quality patient care, willingness to work cooperatively as a member of the health care team as well as her positive, collaborative relationships with all members of the hospital staff.

A graduate of the Taipei School of Nursing in Taiwan, China, Ms. Chen received her Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University. She has been a nurse for 30 years.
